After several considerations and updates to our presale plans, we are finally ready to get things rolling. This is why we are excited to announce that DeFiCity will be the first project to conduct its presale on Poolz.
DeFiCity is a browser-based virtual world that gamifies and simplifies DeFi yield farming by allowing everyone to visualize and manage their farms and track key performance yield farming indicators from a single, visually appealing in-game dashboard. It leverages the scalability and security of the Binance Smart Chain.
The project has some notable investors including Blocksync, Phoneix Capital, OIG, DuckDAO, Lotus Capital, and NewTribe. In addition, the project has partnered with major platforms that are to be announced in the coming week.
DeFiCity’s total fundraising will be divided into three parts. You can find the complete details of the token economics and fundraising schedule here.
Below are the details for the fundraising rounds conducted through Poolz.
Allocations for Poolz Community
From the allocation shown in the snaps shared above, here are allocations reserved for the Poolz community:
1. Private sale: $115k — The total allocation will be divided between the top 100 $POOLZ holders will have guaranteed allocation.
Token price — $0.07
Vesting- The vesting period for the private round is 8 months. The first vesting is 15% and then 12.14% for the next seven months.
2. Strategic Round: $126k — based on lottery draw:
1. For every 250 Staked $POOLZ, one lottery ticket
2. For every 500 Unstaked* $POOLZ, one lottery ticket
So, for example, if you have staked 500 $POOLZ and hold another 500 $POOLZ in your wallet, you will earn 3 tickets, i.e. two for the 500 staked tokens and one for the 500 unstaked tokens.
*You must, however, note that the unstaked $POOLZ must be held in the same wallet from which you staked your $POOLZ.
Token Price- $0.06
Vesting — The strategic round has a 12 month vesting period with the first vesting amount being 10% and following that, 8.18% for the next 11 months.
3. IDO size: $90k — The updated IDO model will be used to distribute the IDO tokens.
Token Price- $0.09
Vesting- %100 unlock.
We wanted to give our community something worthwhile to end this month, so we have scheduled the DeFiCity presale for May 31. Now all members of our community who meet the participation requirements outlined for the token presale will be eligible for the presale lottery ticket and whitelisting.
To assess the participants eligible for further whitelisting, Poolz will take the screenshots of wallets between May 25 and May 30, and later share the whitelist winners on May 30.
The presale pool will go live at poolz.finance/app almost 24 hours after the declaration of the whitelist. To avoid the hefty gas fees on the Ethereum network, we will conduct the presale on Binance Smart Chain, where you will be able to conduct transactions for as little as a dollar.
The vesting amount from the presale will then be directly airdropped every month to the presale participants.
